GLOBAL INITIATIVE PROPOSAL

The 5% AI Profit Giveback Initiative

Returning 5% of AI Companies’ Net Profits to Human Creators

Proposed by: HIC.org — Human Intelligence Certificate
Initiative: Human Creative Income (HCI)
Core Proposal: AI companies contribute 5% of their annual net profits to support human creators worldwide.
Mission: To ensure that human creativity continues to thrive in the age of artificial intelligence.

“Created by Humanity. Returned to Humanity.”

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

AI Was Built on Human Creativity. Now It Is Time to Give Back.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the global economy and becoming one of the most influential technologies in human history.

However, the foundation of modern artificial intelligence was not created by machines alone.

AI systems have been trained on enormous amounts of knowledge, culture, literature, music, films, scientific research, software, and artistic works produced by human beings over generations.

Writers wrote the books.

Musicians composed the music.

Actors performed the roles.

Filmmakers created the movies.

Artists painted the pictures.

Scientists conducted the research.

Programmers developed the software.

Humanity created the knowledge and cultural foundations that helped make modern artificial intelligence possible.

Today, AI companies are building businesses worth billions of dollars, and in some cases achieving extraordinary valuations, by developing technologies that benefit from this accumulated human knowledge and creativity.

Yet many of the human creators whose work contributed to AI development have received little or no direct financial compensation from the companies benefiting from their contributions.

Some AI companies have established licensing agreements and compensation arrangements. However, there is still no comprehensive global mechanism ensuring that the economic success of artificial intelligence is broadly shared with human creators.

Human Creative Income (HCI) proposes a solution.

AI companies should contribute 5% of their annual net profits to a global fund dedicated to sustaining human creativity.

This initiative is not intended to stop artificial intelligence.

It is intended to ensure that the success of artificial intelligence also supports the people whose creativity helped make it possible.

2. THE HUMAN CREATIVE INCOME MISSION

Human Creative Income (HCI)

A New Economic Partnership Between AI and Humanity

Human Creative Income is a proposed global funding system through which AI companies contribute 5% of their annual net profits to support human creators.

The primary purpose of HCI is to provide financial resources that allow human creators to continue producing original work.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly capable of generating films, music, literature, artwork, software, and other creative content, human creators may face growing economic pressure.

Many talented individuals could lose opportunities to earn a living through their creative work.

Without sustainable financial support, human creativity could become increasingly difficult to pursue as a profession.

HCI seeks to prevent this outcome.

The initiative establishes a fundamental principle:

“As AI becomes more profitable, humanity's ability to create must become more sustainable.”

HCI is designed to ensure that the economic success of AI contributes directly to the continued development of human creativity.

3. THE 5% AI PROFIT GIVEBACK PRINCIPLE

Five Percent Back to Human Creators

HCI proposes that participating AI companies commit 5% of their annual net profits to the Human Creative Income Global Fund.

This contribution would represent an ongoing commitment to the human creative community.

It would not be a one-time donation.

Instead, it would establish a sustainable funding mechanism that grows alongside the profitability of the AI industry.

Core Principles

  1. AI companies contribute 5% of their annual net profits to the HCI Global Fund.
  2. The fund distributes financial support to eligible human creators worldwide.
  3. Funding helps creators cover living expenses, production costs, research expenses, and other costs associated with continuing their creative activities.
  4. Contributions increase as participating AI companies become more profitable.
  5. The system promotes a sustainable relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity.

The initiative would begin through voluntary corporate commitments, with the long-term goal of establishing a widely recognized international standard for AI industry responsibility.

4. HCI GLOBAL FUNDING STRUCTURE

Human Creative Income Global Fund

The HCI Global Fund would collect financial contributions from participating AI companies and distribute them to human creators through transparent and independently supervised programs.

These figures are hypothetical examples intended to demonstrate the potential scale of the initiative. They do not represent actual company commitments or financial results.

Global Funding Potential

Consider a scenario in which 100 AI companies each generate $1 billion in annual net profits.

Their combined annual net profits would total:

$100 billion.

A 5% contribution would generate:

$5 Billion Annually for Human Creators

If this funding were distributed entirely as $20,000 annual grants, it could theoretically support 250,000 creators each year.

Actual funding capacity would depend on administrative expenses, eligibility requirements, allocation policies, and the number of participating companies.

As the AI industry grows, the potential funding available to human creators could grow alongside it.

5. SUPPORTING THE CONTINUATION OF HUMAN CREATIVITY

The Purpose of HCI Is to Keep Human Creators Creating

Human creativity requires time, resources, education, and economic stability.

A filmmaker needs resources to develop and produce films.

A writer needs time to write.

A musician needs resources to compose and record music.

An artist needs materials and financial stability to produce original work.

An inventor needs funding to develop new ideas.

A researcher needs support to pursue discoveries.

As AI-generated content becomes increasingly widespread, human creators may face greater challenges in earning sustainable incomes from their work.

HCI addresses this problem by providing direct financial support.

Eligible Creative Fields

The initiative would support human creators working in areas including:

  • Film and television production
  • Acting and performing arts
  • Literature and screenwriting
  • Music and composition
  • Painting and visual arts
  • Photography and design
  • Scientific research
  • Invention and innovation
  • Independent software development
  • Other forms of original human intellectual and creative activity

The program would be open to eligible creators across countries and cultures.

Its objective is to preserve the diversity of human creativity and ensure that future generations can continue pursuing creative professions.

6. HUMAN CREATIVE INCOME DISTRIBUTION

Financial Support for Continued Creative Work

The HCI Global Fund would provide support through three principal programs.

A. Monthly Human Creative Income

Eligible creators could receive recurring monthly payments to help cover living expenses while continuing their creative activities.

Illustrative payment structure:

Creator CategoryMonthly SupportAnnual SupportEmerging Creator$500$6,000Active Creator$1,000$12,000Professional Creator$2,000$24,000Full-Time Creative Fellowship$3,000$36,000

These amounts are proposed examples, not guaranteed benefits.

Actual payments would depend on available funding, eligibility, and program rules.

B. Creative Project Funding

HCI would also provide funding for specific creative projects.

Examples include independent films, music albums, books, exhibitions, inventions, and original research.

This funding would help creators obtain the resources necessary to complete their work.

C. Long-Term Creative Fellowships

Selected creators could receive financial support for multiple years.

This would allow individuals to pursue ambitious projects that require sustained creative effort.

The objective is to reduce financial uncertainty and allow human creators to concentrate on original work.

7. WHY AI COMPANIES SHOULD CONTRIBUTE

The Success of AI Is Connected to the Creative Contributions of Humanity

AI companies have benefited from the extraordinary accumulation of human knowledge and creativity.

Modern AI systems have been developed using datasets containing various forms of human-generated content.

These contributions have helped AI systems understand language, generate images, produce music, write software, and perform increasingly sophisticated intellectual tasks.

While AI innovation also depends on major investments in engineering, computing infrastructure, research, and entrepreneurship, human-generated knowledge and creative content remain essential parts of its development.

The HCI initiative recognizes both contributions.

It does not deny the achievements of AI companies.

Instead, it proposes that a portion of the wealth generated through AI innovation should help sustain the human creative ecosystem.

Our Message to AI Companies

Your technologies have benefited from generations of human knowledge, imagination, artistic expression, and intellectual achievement.

Human creators helped establish the foundation upon which modern artificial intelligence has been built.

Now, as your companies generate substantial economic value, we invite you to invest a portion of that success in the future of human creativity.

We are asking for 5%.

Not to restrict your innovation.

Not to punish your success.

But to ensure that human creativity continues to flourish alongside artificial intelligence.

“Give 5% Back to the Creators Who Helped Make AI Possible.”

8. THE ROLE OF HIC.ORG

Human Intelligence Certificate + Human Creative Income

HIC.org seeks to protect and recognize the value of authentic human intelligence and creativity in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Human Creative Income would complement this mission by providing economic support for continued human creative activity.

Two Complementary Systems

HICHCIHuman Intelligence CertificateHuman Creative IncomeRecognizes human-created workSupports human creators financiallyProtects human creative identitySustains human creative activityProvides human-creation verificationProvides creative income and fundingPromotes the value of human intelligencePromotes the economic sustainability of human creativity

HIC Recognizes Human Creativity.

HCI Supports Human Creativity.

Together, these initiatives would seek to establish a new global framework in which human creativity is both recognized and economically supported.

HIC verification could help establish the authenticity of creative work, while HCI funding eligibility would be determined through fair, independent assessment procedures.

Creators would not necessarily be required to hold HIC certification to qualify for financial support.

9. GOVERNANCE AND TRANSPARENCY

A Global Fund Built on Trust and Accountability

For HCI to succeed, participating companies and creators must have confidence that the funding system operates fairly and transparently.

The HCI Global Fund should therefore operate under an independent nonprofit governance structure.

Its proposed operating principles include:

  1. Corporate contributions calculated using clearly defined and independently verifiable annual net profits.
  2. Public disclosure of contributions and annual fund distributions.
  3. Independent financial audits.
  4. Transparent creator eligibility and selection criteria.
  5. International representation in governance and decision-making.
  6. Strong safeguards against conflicts of interest and misuse of funds.
  7. Protection of creators' intellectual property rights.
  8. Administrative expenses kept as low as reasonably possible to maximize support for creators.

The fund should prioritize direct support for human creative activities rather than unnecessary institutional expenses.

HCI should not require creators to surrender ownership of their work in exchange for financial assistance.

The initiative would also operate separately from existing copyright licensing obligations, legal claims, and compensation agreements.

Participation in HCI should not automatically release companies from any other legal responsibilities relating to the use of copyrighted materials.

10. GLOBAL IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY

Building an International AI–Humanity Partnership

The HCI initiative could be introduced through three development phases.

Phase One: Establish the HCI Global Initiative

HIC.org would formally introduce Human Creative Income as an international proposal.

Initial activities would include establishing the program's governance framework, developing funding standards, and inviting AI companies to participate.

The objective would be to secure the first corporate commitments to the 5% profit contribution principle.

Phase Two: Launch the HCI Global Fund

Once sufficient commitments and financial resources are secured, the HCI Global Fund would begin operating.

Initial programs would focus on providing direct financial support to eligible creators and funding selected creative projects.

Independent financial oversight and transparent reporting would be established from the beginning.

Phase Three: Expand Into a Global Standard

The long-term objective would be to encourage widespread adoption of the 5% AI Profit Giveback Principle.

Participating companies could publicly demonstrate their commitment to supporting human creativity.

Over time, HCI could become an internationally recognized model of responsible AI industry participation in the creative economy.

11. THE HUMAN CREATIVE INCOME GLOBAL DECLARATION

THE 5% AI PROFIT GIVEBACK DECLARATION

Created by Humanity. Returned to Humanity.

Artificial intelligence represents one of the greatest technological achievements in human history.

Yet behind the extraordinary capabilities of modern AI lies something even more remarkable:

The accumulated intelligence, imagination, knowledge, and creativity of humanity.

For generations, human beings have written books, composed music, created films, produced artwork, conducted scientific research, and developed technologies that have transformed civilization.

These human achievements have helped establish the foundation of modern artificial intelligence.

Today, AI companies are transforming this accumulated knowledge into powerful technologies and enormous economic opportunities.

However, many of the human creators whose work contributed to AI development have not shared proportionately in the economic success of the AI industry.

We believe that this must change.

We believe that human creativity deserves recognition, protection, and continued economic support.

We believe that the success of artificial intelligence should contribute to the continued prosperity of the human creative community.

Therefore, we propose the establishment of Human Creative Income (HCI).

We Call Upon AI Companies Worldwide to Contribute 5% of Their Annual Net Profits to Human Creators.

These contributions would support a global fund dedicated to helping human creators continue their work.

The fund would provide financial resources for writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, actors, inventors, researchers, and other creators whose work enriches human civilization.

This initiative is not an attack on artificial intelligence.

It is not an attempt to prevent technological progress.

It is a commitment to ensuring that technological progress continues to serve humanity.

We recognize the achievements of AI companies.

We recognize the importance of innovation.

But we also recognize that innovation must not come at the expense of the human creativity that helped make it possible.

As AI becomes more powerful, humanity must not lose its ability to create.

As AI becomes more profitable, human creators should have greater opportunities to pursue their work.

As artificial intelligence transforms the world, the value of human intelligence must continue to be recognized and supported.

The future of AI and the future of humanity should advance together.

AI Was Built on Human Knowledge.

AI Has Benefited From Human Creativity.

Now AI Must Help Sustain Human Creativity.

We invite the global AI industry to join us in building a future where technological progress and human creativity flourish together.

Five Percent of AI Profits.

For the Future of Human Creativity.

Created by Humanity. Returned to Humanity.

12. AN OPEN LETTER TO GLOBAL AI COMPANIES

A Call for the 5% Human Creative Income Commitment

Dear Leaders of the Global Artificial Intelligence Industry,

Your companies are helping shape the future of human civilization.

Through extraordinary innovation, investment, and technological achievement, you have developed artificial intelligence systems capable of transforming industries, economies, and everyday life.

We recognize these achievements.

However, we also recognize that the foundations of artificial intelligence were built, in significant part, upon the accumulated knowledge and creative contributions of humanity.

For generations, human creators have produced the literature, music, films, artwork, scientific discoveries, and intellectual achievements that helped make modern AI possible.

Today, the AI industry is creating extraordinary economic value from technologies developed using this human knowledge.

We believe that a portion of this success should be returned to the human creative community.

Therefore, HIC.org proposes the establishment of Human Creative Income (HCI), a global initiative calling upon AI companies to contribute 5% of their annual net profits to a fund supporting human creators.

These funds would help writers continue writing, musicians continue composing, filmmakers continue producing, artists continue creating, and researchers continue discovering.

Our request is simple.

Give 5% of Your Annual Net Profits Back to Human Creativity.

We are not asking you to stop innovating.

We are asking you to help sustain the human creativity that contributed to your success.

This is an opportunity for the AI industry to demonstrate that technological progress and human prosperity can advance together.

By supporting HCI, your companies can help establish a future in which artificial intelligence strengthens human civilization rather than diminishing the economic foundations of human creative work.

We invite you to become founding partners of the Human Creative Income Global Fund.

Together, we can build an AI economy that recognizes its human foundations and invests in humanity's creative future.

Sincerely,

HIC.org
